I was inspired to become a therapist early on in life. I was drawn toward wanting to help my family or friends when they were going through difficult times. Not necessarily to give advice, but to make sure they knew I was there to listen without judgment and give them a space to talk freely. This soon developed into a passion for wanting to help others by being there for them, offering a safe space to be vulnerable, explore their thoughts and feelings, break patterns of unwanted behaviors, and guide them toward relief and resolution.

Through my own journey of moving through the process of healing, I understand both, how scary it can be reaching out for help and how liberating it can feel to come out on the other side. Whether you are just starting or continuing your therapeutic journey, together we can begin the process to a healthier version of you.

My approach to therapy is through integrated modalities that focus on the mind, body, and spirit connection. I feel therapy should be tailored to the individual needs and styles of each person. This allows for flexibility and a blend of different, but complimentary therapeutic techniques in order to work with you in the most effective way.

I believe that we can all benefit from having a safe space to be vulnerable; to feel heard and supported. Through our discussions, we can determine how I can be of service to you in meeting your needs, providing relief, and achieving your goals in therapy.

I am a CA Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and have worked in community mental health since 2007. I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse population of children, adolescents, young adults, and families of different cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. Some of these challenges include interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma, and disruptive behaviors.

I strongly believe that finding the “right” therapist (for you) is like finding the right pair of shoes. You may have to try a few on to find the right fit. I hope that whatever brought you here today, you are able to connect with a therapist that best fits your needs.
